Overlay Behavior
What appears in the overlay during a call?
Meeting context, live transcript stream, and generated answer cards with optional source context.
Can I collapse the overlay while presenting?
Yes. Compact/collapse behavior is supported so the overlay does not dominate screen space.
Why is the meeting title sometimes generic?
If detection confidence is low or platform metadata is limited, fallback naming may be used.
Detection and Stability
Which platforms are most reliable for initial rollout?
Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams are the best first validation path.
What happens if Tenali detects a second meeting while one is active?
A switch prompt appears so you can explicitly accept or decline context handoff.
Why does Tenali show reconnecting during a call?
Your network dropped briefly. Don't restart mid-call — the recording keeps running, and transcript data captured while you were offline is queued and sent once the connection returns. Live answers pause until it reconnects, then resume. If it never reconnects and the transcript stays empty for the rest of the call, see Diagnose an Empty Transcript.

Should reps read answer cards word-for-word?
No. Use them as high-confidence guidance and deliver naturally in your own voice.
Can I use Tenali in back-to-back meetings?
Yes. Keep Tenali's controls handy — the menu bar on macOS or the system tray on Windows — and confirm the active meeting before each start.
Does the overlay work the same on Windows and macOS?
Yes. Meeting detection, the live overlay and answer cards, and overlay docking work the same on both platforms. The only difference is where the controls live: the menu bar on macOS and the system tray on Windows.
