Run First Assisted Call
Complete setup and validate a successful first live call with repeatable acceptance checks.
This playbook gets a new user from zero to a validated assisted call in under 20 minutes.
Prerequisites
- Active workspace account with correct org assignment
- macOS desktop app installed
- Microphone, Screen Recording, Accessibility permissions approved
- Google Calendar or Outlook connected for meeting context
Steps
- 1
Confirm runtime readiness
Open the desktop app, verify signed-in state, and confirm no permission warning banner is visible.
- 2
Start internal test meeting
Use Zoom or Google Meet with one teammate and talk for 3-5 minutes using realistic customer objections.
- 3
Ask at least 3 questions
Trigger pricing, competitor, and technical questions to evaluate response quality and source grounding.
- 4
Verify summary output
End the call and open the meeting in the web app. Confirm General, transcript, and question sections populate.
Expected Output
- Overlay appears within 10 seconds of call detection
- Transcript updates continuously
- At least 3 answer cards generated with relevant context
- Meeting summary available after call end
Failure Modes and Fixes
- Overlay never appears: restart app, re-check permissions, and retry on Zoom/Meet.
- Empty transcript: validate mic input and network stability.
- No summary generated: confirm call duration exceeded minimum capture threshold and session stayed authenticated.
Escalate with the meeting link, timestamp, and screenshot of desktop state if any expected output fails.
