Meeting Notifications
Understand how Tenali detects meetings, notification behavior, and action buttons.
Tenali uses notification prompts to help you start assistance at the right time. A Meeting Detected card appears when a call starts on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, or a Slack huddle on Mac.
How Detection Works
When a supported meeting starts, the card asks whether you'd like Tenali on the call. Nothing records until you click Join. Calls on other apps, such as Webex or a dialer, don't bring up a card: start those with Start Recording. See Call Detection for which apps and browsers are detected on each OS.
Notification Actions
- Start or Join: begins the call assistance workflow
- Dismiss: hides the prompt — you can start manually from the menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows) later
- Auto-dismiss: the Meeting Detected card closes after 15 seconds if you don't click anything
Behavior Notes
- Hovering over the notification pauses the auto-dismiss timer
- Platform badge and icon are shown when available (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Teams)
- Notification panel resizes based on content
