Meeting Notifications
Understand how Tenali detects meetings, notification behavior, and action buttons.
Tenali uses notification prompts to help you start assistance at the right time. Notifications are triggered when Tenali detects an active call session on your machine — it monitors your active window to identify supported meeting platforms.
How Detection Works
Tenali watches for supported meeting apps and browser-based meetings in the foreground. When it detects one, a notification prompt appears asking whether you'd like Tenali to assist on the call.
Notification Actions
- Start or Join: begins the call assistance workflow
- Dismiss: hides the prompt — you can start manually from the menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows) later
- Auto-dismiss: some notifications dismiss automatically after a short delay
Behavior Notes
- Hovering over the notification pauses the auto-dismiss timer
- Platform badge and icon are shown when available (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Teams)
- Notification panel resizes based on content
