File upload is the fastest way to seed Tenali with critical product and commercial context.

What Tenali Accepts
Five formats, six file extensions:

Anything else — .txt, .md, .doc, .ppt, images — is rejected by the picker. Convert it first, or paste the content as a URL source instead.
Upload Workflow

Open Sources, then the Computer tab
Click Upload from Computer to open the device upload dialog.

Pick one file and confirm
Tenali starts processing in the background — you don't have to wait on the dialog.

Watch the status pill
The source's row shows PENDING, then IN PROGRESS, then COMPLETED. Its content is only answerable once it reads COMPLETED. A FAILED source shows the reason directly underneath it.
Quality Tips
- Prefer current, approved source of truth documents
- Remove duplicate or contradictory versions
- Keep title and file naming consistent for discoverability
