Connect Google Drive
Pick the Google Drive files and folders Tenali indexes — so reps get instant answers from your docs, PDFs, and slides.
Your best answers already live in Google Drive — the pricing sheet, the security one-pager, the latest deck. Connect Drive once, choose exactly what to ingest, and those docs become instant, source-backed answers in live calls and Chat.
Pick Your Files and Folders
You add Drive content from the Sources page, not the whole drive at once. You choose specific files or folders, and Tenali indexes only those.
- 1
Open the Google Drive tab in Sources
On the Sources page, select "Google Drive" in the left sidebar. The view switches to your Drive sources.
- 2
Open the file picker
Click "Add Files". Tenali opens the Google picker so you can browse your Drive.
- 3
Select files or folders
Browse or search, then check the files and folders you want. Select a folder to ingest the documents inside it.
- 4
Confirm and ingest
Confirm your selection. The button shows "Connecting…" while items are queued, then each appears in the source table with its ingestion status.
What Gets Indexed
- Docs, PDFs, and slides — text content used to answer questions in calls and Chat
- Source status — each item shows its ingestion state in the table so you know when it's ready
- Storage accounting — every ingested file counts toward your storage quota (track it in the usage bar on the Sources page)
Tips for Cleaner Answers
- Curate, don't dump. A focused set of current docs gives sharper answers than your entire Drive. Skip stale or duplicate files.
- Prefer folders for living content. Point Tenali at the folder where your team keeps battle cards or pricing so you manage one place.
- Mind ownership scope. What you add as an individual feeds your assistant; org-wide sources are managed by admins so the whole team benefits.
